VISIONS

The VISIONS Program (Vocational, Instructional, and Supported Industrial Opportunities with Natural Supports) provides Supported Employment services to Department Developmental Services (DDS) individuals ages 22 and older.  The program supports and assists individuals with community work placement. It also provides individuals with vocational counseling, vocational interest surveys, vocational training and additional social experiences through community access and engagement.
Participants are provided with the opportunity for real-life transitional plans, paid vocational opportunities and skill development/ enhancement that otherwise may fade away due to lack of practice or training.
VISIONS Services:
Employment Services:  VISIONS program provides both Individual and Group Supported Work Training within local industry and businesses. Vocational Counseling and Job Development are integral program services.  VISIONS is staffed by on-site Job Trainers, Training Assistants and a credentialed Counselor.
Community Based Day Supports (CBDS):  VISIONS program is designed to enable an Individual to enrich his or her life and enjoy a full range of Community activities by providing opportunities for developing, enhancing, and maintaining competency in personal, social and community activities.
